Catherine Hall (reggae shows) - 12 miles (19 km) Sangster International Airport (MBJ): Approximate driving time is 15 minutes and distance is 4 miles (6.4 km.) Driving directions from Sangster International Airport: Take the main road leading from the airport east towards Rose Hall. The hotel is on the left before the Half Moon Club. Getting there: The best way is via the hotel’s complimentary shuttle van which provides round trip airport transfers as part of the all-inclusive package. Taxis ($5–15 USD) and rental cars (more than $36 USD) are also available. Fees subject to change without notice. Rental cars are available online. Getting around: A number of shops are just across the street but for dining off hotel property, guests need to go into Montego Bay. The hotel can arrange complimentary pick-up and drop-off at various restaurants. It also offers a round trip shuttle to downtown Montego Bay for $5–15 USD for adults and less than $5 USD for children. Taxi fare to Montego Bay is $5–$15 USD. Fees subject to change without notice. Otherwise, taxis and minivans can be flagged down or called, but only those with red Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) plates should be used. Local buses and private taxis are not recommended for safety reasons. Driving is not recommended for those unaccustomed to fast traffic on the left side of the road.

The 22-acre Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort fronts half a mile of white-sand beach. The resort features two pools: a large, lagoon-shaped, freeform pool and an adults-only pool with swim-up bar and spa tub. Four lighted tennis courts, a mini-golf course lit for night games, and a 24-hour fitness center provide plenty of diversion away from the water. Besides an array of restaurants and bars, the resort features a gaming parlor, a teen disco, a movie room, and the popular Witches nightclub with disco and jazz. A 24-hour Internet café with business facilities is located off the atrium lobby.

The white-sand beach invites swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, and sunbathing. Guests can also play in the two pools: an adults-only pool with spa tub and swim-up bar, and a lagoon-shaped pool that is wheelchair-accessible. A PADI 5-Star dive/water sport facility is on site (not included in all-inclusive package). Other activities include tennis, miniature golf, basketball, volleyball, and billiards.
